The Man Behind the Game

The Kiss Chase explosion began within the mind of an artistically driven, boundary breaking and trend setting entrepreneur, architect, actor, model, and story writer.

​Richie Wellesley Cole was born in the tropical lands of Sierra Leone to the legendary/prominent and enigmatic father Dr Robert Wellesley-Cole - Surgeon, Politician, Artist, Architect and Author of 'Kossoh Town Boy' and an 'Innocent in Britain', who became one of West Africa’s most distinguished leaders and the first African to become a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.
Richie was set not to disappoint and followed in his father’s footsteps taking on the creative richness of his heritage and inspirations from life in both Sierra Leone and England.
Having been heavily influenced growing up as a child amongst a family of professional story tellers as the Krio’s were renowned for their rich and oral traditions passing myths, legends and history from generation to generation, Richie was destined to create a piece of his life’s fantasy that would be set to become everyone’s reality.

The childhood school memory of playing Kiss Chase was always a prominent desire and strong metaphor for Richie’s Life. The chase for love and passion, a wanting need to obtain and succssed fuelled his excitement and zest for life. As we are always on the run and the chase throughout our lives; whether towards our dreams, towards our loves or away from our fears, our life is the endless picture in motion, like a movie reel that fills up with momentry episodes and fragile  fragments infused from different characters, new experiences, the exuberant ups and melancholy downs, the windy bendy at times twisted roads, the loves and fears, the failing battles and the glorious accomplishments all forming and coming together like the pieces to a puzzle that we have been collecting along the way to its grande finale of our eternal never ending game show …..Welcome to the Matrix of Life’s Game. 

The inspiration for Kiss Chase began high on a mountain top where Richie’s primary school resigned in Free Town- Sierra Leone. It was said that the Cannibals hid at the end of the playing fields behind the school fence and all of the children were told never to venture beyond that boundary. This early childhood memory stayed with Richie when  he came to England. The boundaries were to be broken, the chase for truth was on, blended seamlessly into the fantasy within the mind that soon was to manifester into his reality.
All of the characters in Kiss Chase are real; Richie Rich- the main character is the alter ego of Richie Wellesley-Cole, the bullies and the teachers are all based on real life people from Richie’s school days…  and so they ask does life imitate art or does art imitate life, we here at Kiss Chase believe it is a bit of both. All of us are chasing the dream wherever it may lead us one must always follow their path and believe that the Universe is guiding you to your highest good and truest moments.
Keep dreaming, keep believing, keep loving, keep chasing for one day if you don’t give up you will reach that higher level of your final destination as life truly is a wonderful game at times painfully beautiful and breathtakingly surprising. We just need to know how to play the cards that we were given,  remember its  about how you play them and not about the ones you hold, and sometimes we don’t meed a manuel to undretsand the rules, here we create our own and follow our inner guiding instinct to our truest hearts content.
